ETaxiStand Partner Application Privacy Policy
Governing the mobile application ETaxiStand Partner (Package: com.etaxistandpartner.app), operated by eTaxi Stand.
1. Introduction & Scope
eTaxi Stand ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of independent commercial drivers, chauffeurs, fleet operators, and taxi stand agency partners ("Partner", "Driver", or "You") who use the ETaxiStand Partner mobile application (Google Play package name: com.etaxistandpartner.app) and our related platform services.
This Privacy Policy explains in detail what data we collect, how it is used, processed, shared with passengers for ride execution, and the robust controls you have over your data, including clear account and data deletion mechanisms.
2. Categories of Information We Collect
In order to enable commercial transport dispatching, regulatory compliance under the Motor Vehicles Act, passenger safety, and fare settlements, we collect the following categories of information:
Personal & Account Information
Full name, mobile telephone number (authenticated securely via SMS OTP), optional email address for financial receipts, and profile photograph.
KYC & Driver Verification Data (Sensitive)
Commercial Driving License (number, class, expiry, front/back photo), Government Identity Proof (Aadhaar / PAN card for statutory tax, TDS, and identity compliance), and residential address.
Vehicle Documentation & Specifications
Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Commercial Permits, Fitness Certificate, Commercial Vehicle Insurance, vehicle make, model, registration plate number, fuel type (Petrol, Diesel, CNG, Electric), and vehicle photos.
Financial, Wallet & Earnings Data
Driver wallet balance, trip earnings, advance platform commission payments, withdrawal payout records, and bank account / UPI IDs provided for earnings settlement. (Payment card details are handled directly by PCI-DSS compliant gateways like Razorpay and never stored on our servers).
ETaxiStand Partner collects precise (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) and approximate (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) location data from your mobile device:
- When the App is in Foreground: While you are actively using the app, to display available nearby taxi stands, open trip requests, and nearby bookings.
- While on Active Trip (Foreground Service): While fulfilling an assigned passenger ride, to enable turn-by-turn navigation, calculate accurate chargeable route distance and tolls, share live vehicle location with the booked rider for passenger safety, and provide emergency SOS assistance.
4. Camera, Photos & Device Permissions
The ETaxiStand Partner app requests access to your device camera (android.permission.CAMERA) and photo gallery solely for operational features:
- Capturing or selecting your driver profile photograph.
- Photographing Driving License, Vehicle RC, and fitness permits for verification.
- Uploading vehicle photos to prove vehicle category and cleanliness.
- Scanning verification QR codes or confirming start/end ride OTPs.
Camera and photo access are strictly user-initiated. You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your device operating system settings.

We share partner data only under strict operational safeguards:
- With Booked Passengers: Once you accept a ride, the customer receives your full name, profile photo, contact phone number, vehicle registration number, make/model, and live vehicle location until ride completion.
- With Taxi Stand Partners: If fulfilling a B2B partner booking, booking status and assigned vehicle details are shared with the booking taxi stand agency.
- Essential Infrastructure Partners: Google Maps Platform (navigation & distance estimation), Google Firebase (push notifications and phone authentication), certified payment processors (Razorpay / Cashfree), and cloud infrastructure providers (MongoDB, AWS/Vercel).
- Law Enforcement & Safety: If required by valid legal process, judicial order, or to prevent severe harm, fraud, or accidents.
In accordance with Google Play's User Data policy, every partner using ETaxiStand Partner has the absolute right to request the permanent deletion of their account, driver profile, KYC documentation, and personal data.
Method 1: In-App Deletion Request
Open ETaxiStand Partner App > Profile Tab > Account Settings > Tap "Delete My Account" and confirm with your OTP.
Method 2: Email Deletion Request
Send an email to support@etaxistand.com with subject "Account Deletion Request", stating your registered phone number.
Deletion Timeline: Your driver profile, uploaded KYC documents, vehicle photos, and authentication credentials will be permanently erased from our active servers within thirty (30) business days. Only historical tax/invoice records will be retained for the minimum statutory period required by Indian law.

9. Data Security & Age Restriction
All data communications between the ETaxiStand Partner application and our cloud servers are protected using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / 256-bit encryption). Driver KYC documents are stored in secure, access-restricted encrypted buckets.
Children's Privacy: The ETaxiStand Partner service is strictly designed for licensed commercial drivers aged 18 and older. We never intentionally onboard or collect information from minors.
